Police/Fire Department Race and Family Day.

 

I was so excited for this day! I ran my first 10k. It was pretty fun and tough. I hadn't ran since the Marathon and I had just been going to Spin class so I thought I would be good but I thought wrong! It was still fun.

I just had to put this up just so you can see than I'm a monster compared to Pam haha

Then the Men came in to finish! They ran a 5k. In their full turn outs. Lets just say, they were super sweaty!

They ran in cadence and sang songs. It was fun to watch!

Then they all stood there and let us take pictures in front of them. Can you find Cass?? There shirts were light gray in the beginning haha.

This caught me completely off guard, I took 1st place in my age group! I wasn't paying attention and then I heard my name announced so I went up to the stand and he said "Congrats! You won 1st place" and I thought he said 4th place and I was like "Sweet! 4th place!" and he was like "No, 1st place!" "awesomeeeeeeee"

Then we went to Family Day. It was so much fun! I was so proud of Cass and his Class. They put on a show for us to see what they have learned during the Academy. It was amazing.

They simulated a real fire and started a fog machine. All the fire trucks came up lights and sirens put the fire out! That is Cass climbing up the ladder. Then after they lit two cars and a train on fire and showed us how to put it out! It was amazing.

That is Cass spraying the fire hose! I'm so proud of him and can't wait for Graduation on Thursday!
