What do married couples do with no children on a boring Thursday night do on April 23?? BUY A PUPPY! --> not my idea, it was Cass's. We went to the gym and out to see the house and then on the way home thought it would be a great idea to stop by petsmart. We walked around looking at other peoples dogs. There was a couple with a 10 week old german shepherd and he was so cute! Cass asked them where they got her and they said Craiglist! Ha so Cass and I went home and made a protein shake and I thought "Why not?" I pulled up Craiglist on the Ipad. WHABAM! this little cutie popped up! Last puppy from a litter of 9. Then we discussed for an hour on whether or not we should go see her. We made a pro's and con's list. There were definitely more cons than pros, but the pros outweighed the cons! Ha you know how the story ends. Lynsie stays at home with the puppy peeing on my carpet (frustrated) while Cass goes to work. Ha but after some great advice from Google and Natalie Godnick, I'm figuring it out!! Two weeks later, puppy is doing GREAT with crate training and knows how to sit and walks well on the leash! She learns so fast! Know, we have to figure out how to stop the nipping! We love having Cass home to help take care of her! She got her 8 week shots and the vet said she looked good and is well behaved, but underweight. She was 7.5 pounds. The previous owner was only feeding her once a day :( The vet said I want her to look like a bowling ball next time I see her. Now she has a cute little belly!

She loves to watch everything outside. It funny when a loud motorcycle drives by, she freaks out and runs inside! It has been so funny though, because sometimes the doors are closed and she runs straight into them!! HILARIOUS!

This was the first night, I know its bad, but I wanted to cuddle with her while Cass was at work! She slept by my side all night! :)

She likes her crate but she would cry and cry until I put that teddy bear in with her, and now she sleeps all night!

She hates baths and I love giving them to her! haha

The vet gave us the go ahead to socialize her! She did so well with the big dogs! ha she was a little afraid, but warmed up!

We have had her for two weeks and she has already gotten so big! Welcome to the family baby girl! Cass and I bounced back and forth for a name for her. I said Cali out of the blue and Cass said "I like it! We used our California Vacation money to buy her" We asked around and everyone liked it! So it stuck! Now it totally fits her! Now we have her potty trained for the most part back to the grind of nursing school! and packing up and moving to our new house! Life is awesome!
