Oahu Hawaii 2017

All of these pictures are out of order, and there are to many to orgainze them. It's really hard to change the order in the program. Anyways, Cass and I have a thing to go to Hawaii when we are expecting a baby! I've only been to Hawaii pregnant. Luckily I didn't have to sit out on any of the activities we did!

We rented Kayaks and paddled out to a few little Islands. It was fine going out but coming back was hard! It was a long way. But I enjoyed the time with Cass.

We stopped at the Fire station and bought a shirt! This station is right on the ocean and has a very pretty view!

There is no better snorkeling than Sharks Cove. There are so many fish and we even saw a turtle!

These full face masks were awesome to snorkel with.

Turtle bay is in the background. We stayed there last time we came. This trip we just came and looked at the beach.

And found some cool rocks! This one has a heart :)

This was the highlight of the trip for me! The Stairway to Heaven. It was an intense hike! First of, this hike is illegal. So we looked at it a few days before hiking it. There is a security guard that can fine you $700/person for trespassing. We hiked it on Memorial Day. We started the hike at 5am. The neighbors are usually the ones that get really frustrated and call the cops. Scott dropped us off and went and parked the car. Someone spot lighted us with a big light and we just hid in the bushes. It definitely got our adrenaline going. Then the gate was closed that we were planning on going through, so we took off into the bamboo forest. The bamboo forest was crazy! so much bamboo, we didn't have a trail, we were just trucking through. It was kind of scary at times because we had no idea where we were going. Then we came across the road that the gate was closed on. So we just made it through! Then it was time to go around the security guard and he wasn't parked were he normally was. So we hit up another bamboo forest to go around him for no reason because we came out of the forest right into his truck, when we could of just walked up the road. It was all for the experience haha. All the guard said was "You know you are trespassing right?" but we just kept walking and made it to the stairs! It was BEAUTIFUL! Then come to find out, there were over 100 people hiking it this day. The stairs are really narrow at times so it was scary passing people on cliffs.

The stairs were built to access a radio tower in 1942. There are a total of 3,922 stairs. There is an elevation gain of 4,894 feet. Being pregnant, I took frequent breaks climbing up the hill. Some of the ladders were straight up.

We made it to the top! I'm an angel from climbing the stairway to heaven!

There was a little cloud cover but you could see around the whole island.

Then we hit up the Mermaid caves! There were caves you could drop down into. It was pretty amazing. It got scary at times when the water level got high because you could get your head smashed up on the rocks.

Cass, me and baby Caleb.

And we are off! haha I love how these pictures are in order.

Traditional airplane wing picture.

Nicole's friend greeted us with a sign and flower leis.

Our vacation rental was great! All couples had their own room and there was plently of space!

The kitchen.

My stud muffin.

Couples retreat!

Mean while, we were having fun in Hawaii, my mom took Cole for the week. William left for the MTC for his LDS mission! Cole got to help drop William off at the curb.

I got these Toms at Costco for $10! YEAH! $10, crazy and cute!

Soaking up the Vitamin D and Sea. HAha

I made it to the top of this rock when Cass told me I couldn't. BAUHAHA

We hit up the PCC! To get all the culture loving you could ever get! It was a fun, hot and long day.

The highlight was Cass getting called up on stage to do some drumming. It was hilarious.

Group photo!

Experiencing all parts of the culture. I really wanted to keep it.

And how cute is my Island boy? I wish he could keep his too.

I kept an eye out for a gift for my mom...then I saw this Coconut nativity scene and i HAD to buy it! My mom is all about nativity scenes and it was HANDMADE by this lady!

Oh gosh, face timing Cole was a heart breaker! He was so cute to see! It was bitter sweet because Cass and I really enjoyed our time together!

STUFFED OUR BELLIES WITH GREATNESS at the PCC.

One of the main reasons I go to Hawaii is for the food. Ohh boy! Delicious stuff all around.

Banana and Coconut buttermilk pancakes.

We stopped here twice for these delicious Hawaiian shaved ices.

The beauty this place has.

Cliff jumping with my 26 week old pregnant belly. We laughed hard at this picture because it looks like Caleb fell out when I jumped.

Sunsets on Sunset beach.

Watching the sunset gets all your senses going.

Oh! back to the Stairway to heaven hike. Huge cliffs on both sides!

Off the stairs, all in one piece and no fines!

As you can see, our legs are a little beat up.

Hiked to a look out on the south shores.

I could just kiss him!

When I think about this vacation this meal is the first to come to mind! It was delicious! Fish and sweet potato fries. Freakin delicious.
