Happy Father’s Day!

To the Daddy that changes more diapers on vacation than I do, teaches the boys how to be men by knowing how to “pull each other’s fingers,” teaches the boys to be strong by doing burpees all over the house, teach the boys hard work by moving massive piles of rock in 105 degree weather, and teach the boys to be smart that nuts and bolts don’t go into the tail pile of the motorcycles and to teach the boys how to eat a sugary bowl of cereal after mom scrambles eggs. This is the best daddy WE could ever ask for. I hope you feel our love as you save life’s and fight fires in sin city. love you daddy! 💋
Today, the boys and I spent the whole day lounging around on a hot, windy Sunday. We stayed in our comfies all day. Cole and Beau are starting to interact more with each other. Beau is also starting to crawl around more and exploring, not having me constantly carry him. But these boys just started to fight over me. It is funny, as soon as I lay down on the floor. I get attacked. There are no boundaries, my head gets bonked atleast 1,000 times, the biggest slobberest kisses, Cole stiff arming beau to the face, receiving chest compressions, Cole standing on whatever body part he can. I’m a mommy jungle gym, it hurts but I love it.
My most favorite part of today was putting the boys down for a nap. We were in Beau’s room in the rocking recliner and I sang songs to the boys and rocked them both to sleep, and I took a little snooze. Cole was tucked up under my arm on my chest and Beau on my other arm across my lap. Their sweet little peaceful faces made my heart so warm. I love my boys!!
