Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt! Last minute we found out that the Bunkerville water balloon fight was on the 3rd of July. So being spontaneous we hurry and threw the kiddie pool into the back of the truck, fill up 230 water balloons with the cool, new bunch of balloons and away we went! We had NO IDEA what we were getting ourselves into! We started at the church parking lot (not really knowing what to do) Cole and I got into the back of the truck and started driving, we rounded the first corner and WHAM BAMMM Cole took a water balloon RIGHT TO THE FACE and exploded. He was screaming/balling. I hurry and threw him into the cab through the back window. Then I continued to get pelted by balloons in every direction. We got to a stopping point and I took my phone out and started to record the boys who were both screaming and then BAM a water balloon hit my phone right out my hand, flying, and hitting Beau, which made him scream louder. It was quite the experience! Then we came home and had a fun "toddler approved" water balloon fight with the twins. Cole had a lot more fun this time. Then we did Sparklers and snakes. The kids loved it!

The actual 4th of July we went to the Bunkerville Park. They had kid races and snow cones. It was Beau's nap time so during the crawler race, he just CRIED!!! hahaa didn't even move an inch. Then Cole took 2nd place! He started in first but then got out ran. Ha it was awesome. He got a little metal and cotton candy. The Jensens invited us over for night time fireworks. They were awesome! There wasn't supposed to be an illegals...but somehow they showed up. Whitney was so mad! Which made it even funnier. I thought the boys were going to be scared...but they didn't mind them! BUT I pulled a really big mom fail. Even after Whitneys mom told me to put shoes on Cole...I didn't. He stepped on 3 HOT HOT HOT sparklers. His foot is branded now. He has 3 bad burns that are blistered. My mommy heart was so broken. He cried for a solid 2 hours. They are slowly getting better though! Yay! Here are some pictures. :)
