The Overmans: 7 Months Old

Stats: Haven't measured him!

Nicknames: Monkey Man (Gram calls you that), the boo boo (Gram), Tiny Baby (Uncle Andrew),

Health: He got sick for the first time! It was awful! Thank GOODNESS my mom came down when I probably would have lost my marbles, but she saved the night. When we got back from California we all got a little sick. He had a really snotty nose for 2 weeks. He also threw up every night for about a week- he would cough so hard it would make him throw up. It broke my heart! and my washing machine (JK, but I had to wash the sheets 5 times in 6 days.) We had to do saline drops and nose frita suction him. The nose frita suctioner is a LIFE saver! awesome mommy tool! After the nasal congestion it moved down into his chest and he sounded like a frog. Poor baby, but he is all better now!

Sleep: He regressed so much while he was sick. Up all night, sad, crying, throwing up. After he was feeling better. Now, I normally put him to bed between 6:30-7:30 and he'll usually wake up at midnight, 3am and 7am. Some nights he doesn't wake up at midnight and those nights are awesome. Sometimes he'll sleep all the way until 3-4 and those are even better!

Diet: Still introducing lots of new flavors! He loves sucking on watermelon and my apple cores. He likes avocados, prunes and squash. He also eats oatmeal cereal mixed with breastmilk the best! He eats better for his Daddy. His favorite is sucking the baby food out of the pouches.

His diaper changed, he lifts his legs up for us.

Milestones:

Two teeth popped up! and they are sharp!
Sits up really well by himself
rolls from belly to back
picks up food and eats it
Not even close to crawling.

Things I don’t want to forget:

Always sucking or chewing on his fingers. Lots of drool! Teething is no fun.
He shakes his head no when we say "No No No" in a playful voice. Its funny for now! ha
He only looks and acknowledge people if they are across the room.
Playing in the sand in California, the sand was so intreging.
He went swimming and he pooped in his daiper and it started to leak all over. The Uncles were so grossed out.
Barfing ALL OVER Gram. All over, she had to go shower at 3am.
I know when he is starting to wake up because he starts to kick his legs in the pack and play. I start to hear a -thump thump thump-
Main attraction at the grocery store. All the Grandpa and Grandmas at the store say how cute your cheeks are.
He looks around corners (or the recliners) to see things.
Gram gave you Mom's old (remade) airplane mobile. I'm going to try and do a separate post with more details on it. :) Because I love it!
