My blog doesn't know where I live...

I live in Mesquite! Last August a DREAM home for Cass and I was up for sell in Bunkerville, Nevada. Cass's hometown, it was perfect until we sold our home in Vegas. Long story short we became "homeless," we tried to get out of selling our Vegas house and it didn't work. So we had to move, I was 37 weeks pregnant and only a few days after Christmas. It was not good timing. Cass's KIND parents, let us come stay with them, they were so hospitable. After 3 months, no other homes were working out. We moved into a rental in Mesquite. It is a cute little 950 square foot apartment. It is easy to clean but we are bursting at the seams! Haha It has a pool and we have been going once-twice a week! We also get to have Cali inside with us, which is good but her hair has tripled! I swear, it is bad.. :( In June, we closed on a lot in Mesquite! Its a 1/2 acre lot in a cul de sac. IT IS PERFECT! And who doesn't love a custom home? Okay, there may be people that don't, but we are SO excited to design our own home! Right now, all of our paperwork is turned into the City. Hopefully we get our permits monday...and you know what that means! DIRT WORK! It's time to start! YAHOO! I'm going to try and document this because I hope it will be the last house we build until we have to downsize.
