SNOW!!!!

Thanksgiving break what a relief! A break from work and school. It was a great experience to be with my awesome family! Right when lee and I walked in the door...William and Andrew were all over us haha and never left us alone. Cute boys. We went to Solitude and it was a beautiful day...and its sad to say...but i found out that William is better than I am! :( ha but i'm proud of him!

The cabin was beautiful! Ha I'm pretty sure we laughed the WHOLE time there! William and Andrew taught Lee and I how to play poker. We got to here good stories from my dads childhood. Found a new snowmobile trail and ate lots of good food! I love being with my family!

So...I stole this from my mommys blog...I love hearing this story and its something I can keep forever!! Thanks mommy!

Wow, it is hard to believe that 21 years ago today, I became a mother. I went to the doctor's office on the 6th of November and the doctor decided that I was a week over due and time to get this child born. So I was admitted to the hospital and the process was started. I really wanted to give natural childbirth a shot, so I declined any drugs. 16 hours later, I was ready for drugs! At 0316 my little baby girl was born. I had decided that I really like the name Terralynn, but as soon as I saw her, I knew she was Lynsie. Little princess Lynsie. I couldn't have possibly loved anything anymore than I did this little baby looking up at me! I had no clue what being a mother was all about and now that she is 21, I am not sure that I know anymore today than I did then. I always called her my guinea pig, because I learned everything with her.I am going to attempt to write a poem about her.....umm, might be difficult.

Do you know how much you mean to me? My little precious girl.
Away from home, going to school your life is such awhirl!

You are a part of me, so close to my heart.
How do I express my love? I don't know where to start?

You grew so fast, so quickly it seems, my how time does fly.
When I think of you and all you have become...yep....I start to cry.

And with those eyes full of tears, I suddenly start to smile
So many memories filled with fun makes the tears worthwhile.

Remember the day you cut your hair or painted your body red?
Or the time you went skinny dipping after sneaking out of bed?

What about boy crushes and driving mom's car?
Hanging out with friends and simply being bizarre?

Trips to the cabin, riding motorcycles and learning how to ski?
Good thing your dad's a teacher, cuz you didn't learn that from me!

Graduating from high school, working and then off to college you flew
You left my heart broken and feeling a little blue.

But I wouldn't want it any other way. Well maybe that's a lie.
I am so very proud of you and l just wish you didn't make me cry!!

You are a beautiful woman standing tall and with very little fear.
Your dreams, goals and desires in front of you are edging ever near.

So on this 21st birthday my wish for you is to keep chasing all those dreams
but remember your mother's love surrounds you like the warmth of sunbeams.

The next few years will fly quickly by and you may one day be looking into little eyes.
Then you might better understand why your mother always cries.

Time flies...

Wow...This was the place where a relationship was born :) It's 16 months since I've meet my boyfriend Cass :) and ever since then...my life has changed for the better. He is the biggest sweetheart and as I look back at the fun times together, it makes me laugh. I can't wait to see what comes to our future! He has always stayed by my side and has comforted me. He has always been creative and always made being together fun. He always has something new to do. He can make me laugh at my worst and comforts me at my tears of sadness. He makes me a better person and helps me be successful. We work really well together and help each other day to day. I love this kid!

and this pond....haaa....We went on a bike ride and saw this pond and decided to jump in. Then had swimming races...and he kicked my bum! Cass's sense of humor and funny random comments make me smile. He fits in so well with my friends and family and I love it. He's been supportive with all I've done and can't wait for the next pond to jump in!

Oh no....Cass got a bad case of the ... FOOD POISONING! So after lots of throw up, needle, and some love from girlfriend, he finally started to feel better :) yay.

He stayed in the house all Saturday morning so I went and rescued him from his dungeon
and took him on a drive. We went through Snow Canyon during the sunset hours and the red rock was GOREGOUS! and then we went for a VERY small hike to see the poineer names and chased some bunny rabbits in the car ha ... very exciting! Then after the crazy driving of the car...I made him more sick...so we got Sprite and went back home...and I POKED him! hahaha

I even got to give him drugs.

He still looks good when he's sick! :)

Still running! Victoria and I found a fun trail. Its an 8 mile loop of scenic fun things...and then we come home and stretch!

Well Saturday Morning we went to Kneaders and got all you can eat french toast and it was SO YUMMY!!! and then we sporadically decided to go to Zions! YAY so we packed our water and hoped in the car and away we went! It was lee lees first time hiking this hike so it was fun :)

Snow Canyon Half Marathon 2011

My first Half Marathon! I've been training for a while but i think I only got up to 7 miles before I actually ran the full 13.1 miles haha but it ended up being great! Cass and I woke up early Saturday morning, ate a bagel and got on the bus to be shipped up the canyon.

This was about mile 7? Still feeling pretty good!

THANK GOODNESS FOR THE FINISH LINE!! HAHA

YAY!!! Cass stayed with me the whole time...We ran the whole way and finished 1 hour 57 minutes. I felt very accomplished! Now i've got to shoot for the Marathon! ;)

So I had my 21st birthday! I got a new license and have never had so many surprises before!! haha people are so good to me! I enjoyed every bit of it! So my day started as a creeky door opening and cass popping his head in telling me "It's time for breakfast" so this is what i came out to....
