Ronnie and Aunt Lynsie

Shelby and Andy dropped off their baby to me to babysit, I failed at babysitting a real child. So Shelby is letting me experiment with her baby rat! Haha Well I'm a really great babysitter, I gave Aly's fish naughty pictures to look at and now i'm giving Ronnie the Rat- Snooki the Snake! I made her from rocks that I stole from the Beehive Assisted living at midnight. I creeped across the yard and hid behind the bushes while i used my small flashlight to find the right size rocks!
The creation of Snooki!
The plan was for Snooki to eat Ronnie, but she didn't move....
They instantly started bonding...my plan fell through but I found Ronnie an eternal companion: Snooki the Snake
This is Ronnie thanking me for setting them up :) and that he misses his parents! but they are coming home in 6 days! Start planning a wedding!

Ouch...

There is a first for everything! Well for the last six days I've had an awful pain in my ribs. It started on Thursday hurting in my shoulder and then moved down to my ribs on Friday after my Mountain bike ride with Annalee. So my first thought was a muscle strain but heat packs, advil and relaxing..It wasn't getting better. So as the days went on the pain was constant. Then all the sudden during the movie "The Avengers" I couldn't breathe. Every breathe was extremely painful. Then I started to feel bubbling in my ribs. I was still hesitant to go to the ER because my head was so full. My mom made the decision and just drove us up there. I got the loyalty treatment in the hospital. We registered and walked straight in, we didn't have to wait in the waiting room. My mom had the room all set up by the time we registered. I walked in and Cass dressed me in the gown while my mom was poking me with needles. I peed in a cup, got a EKG, and got my labs drawn in matter of minutes. It wasn't an emergency I just had the BEST two ER employees ever! They gave me pain meds which helped tremendously and got an xray. I had Dr. Johnson. She was a younger lady and was great! She was so smart and connected with me. My x-ray's came back they were good. That made me happy, but I was still hurting. Before coming into the ER we thought it may be a blood clot. I'm on birth control and that has high risks for blood clots. The blood test came back negative for that, so I was happy again. My EKG came back and I have inverted P waves and have PVC's randomly. That could be caused by paracarditis, which is inflammation of the sack around the heart. The pain in the ribs was my lung was pluerisy. An inflammation of the cavity around my left lung. It hurts like crazy! Every breath in and out felt like a sharp stabbing pain.
Our first Medical bill together ;) awhhh...
 My mom poking me...
My mom was the best nurse ever!
My Tech McDreamy taking out my IV for me to go home!! YAY :)

Cass and I stopped in Beaver to get gas and CHECK THIS OUT!!! This truck was huge! I sent it to Jarom :) It made the Diesel look small. The guy that drove it, when he got out...he literally had to jump out!
My little Brother-in-law Mady got MARRIED!! She was a beautiful bride :) She was so happy, she was glowing! and her new husband is so good to her.
Her siblings...were not so good to her! haha their poor car...

HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY ANDREW! he is now a teenager!! crazy!
We went and saw Avengers for his birthday and it was good! I want to see it again!
Cass and I decorated Andrew's birthday cakes. The soccer ball and the EVIL smiley face. Andrew got a TRAXX truck...a Remote Control truck! He was so happy!
On the 24th we lit off fireworks! It was hilarious!
Cass taught William and Andrew how to shoot the bottle rockets from their hands.
Then these fire crackers were hilarious!! haha We had a long strip of them. They were so loud and fast it was AWESOME! my mom loved it! haha

We had a GREAT trip!! :)

Naughty Nurses...

This would be Channing Tatum ladies and gentlemen. He is a hottie! Cass was working on the Ambo one night and took a patient into the Emergency Room. The ER nurses are always telling Cass he looks like Channing Tatum. As he walked into the ER the nurses made Cass this sign :) They photocopied his picture out of a magazine. They wrote "We love you Cass" and "Cass is the man" and made him hold it and they took a picture with him. Cass was laughing cause it was like 3 in the morning with his boots undone, messy hair, and red eyes. It was funny. I have to keep those nurses away from him! He gets it all the time and I'm proud of it :) I think my man is more handsome with his beautiful green eyes :)

Grey's Anatomy...

Oh no....It happened...Currently obsessed with Grey's Anatomy. I have never watched a full season of ANYTHING until now...and yes I watched the whole 1st Season in one night. It's only 9 episodes. Don't worry. It surely helps passing the time of writing thank you cards until 6 in the morning while my hubby is making dough. Also, don't worry, I'm already half way through Season TWO and it's just great :) Cass was able to watch a half of episode with me and was correcting everything they did wrong haha. They called a code blue and started CPR and they obviously don't really do it on the tv show and Cass is like "He is massaging her boobs, com'mon!" Ha but I don't care, I just like the drama! ;) I love married life :) its so chill!

This is my mothers FAVORITE man (other than Jesus and my dad) I was texting her while watching this great show. She said "OOHH Doctor McDreamy........." and I told her "I'm waiting for my TECH McDreamy to come home" and she said "Ha Ha. Now you really made me laugh" I'm clever ;)
Oh yes... I love all these people but not more than my hubby and heavenly father.

Summa schhool!

SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!! Yay! Now I've got 28 more days to play! Summer school is the best...Its fast, intense, and you get A's from the cool professors! I took Microbiology and Cass took Math and Human Anatomy. I wouldn't refer taking a Math class in the summer! They don't lighten up the load, so Cass was ALWAYS doing math homework. Lame, but it's over! :) and we all got A's, except a B+ in Math but its still good!

Neiman Marcus

These cookies are DELICIOUS! I love them :) The wonderful Koyle Family introduced them to me and with this little story! I found it pretty interesting! They are great!
Neiman Marcus

A little background:

Neiman-Marcus, if you don't know already, is a Very expensive store; i.e., they sell your typical $8.00 T-shirt for $50.00.

Let's let them have it! THIS IS A TRUE STORY!

My daughter and I had just finished a salad at a Neiman-Marcus Cafe in Dallas, and we decided to have a small dessert. Because both of us are such cookie lovers, we decided to try the"Neiman-Marcus cookie." It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe, and the waitress said with a small frown, "I'm afraid not, but you can buy the recipe."

Well, I asked how much, and she responded, "Only two fifty-it's a great deal!" I agreed to that, and told her to just add it to my tab. Thirty days later, I received my VISA statement, and the Neiman-Marcus charge was $285.00! I looked again, and I remembered I had only spent $9.95 for two salads and about $20.00 for a scarf. As I glanced at the bottom of the statement, it said, "Cookie Recipe-$250.00". That was outrageous!

I called Neiman's Accounting Department and told them the waitress said it was "two fifty", which clearly does not mean "two hundred and fifty dollars" by any reasonable interpretation of the phrase. Neiman-Marcus refused to budge.

They would not refund my money because, according to them, "What the waitress told you is not our problem. You have already seen the recipe. We absolutely will not refund your money at this point." I rexplained to the Accounting Department lady, the criminal statutes which govern fraud in the state of Texas. I threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's office for engaging in fraud.

I was basically told, "Do what you want. Don't bother thinking of how you can get even, and don't bother trying to get any of your money back." I just said, Okay, you folks got my $250, and now I'm going to have $250 worth of fun." I told her that I was going to see to it that every cookie lover in the United States with an e-mail account has a $250 cookie recipe from Neiman-Marcus...for free. She replied, "I wish you wouldn't do this." I said, "Well, perhaps you should have thought of that before you ripped me off!" and slammed down the phone. So here it is!

Please, please, please pass it on to everyone you can possibly think of. I paid $250 for this, and I don't want Neiman-Marcus to EVER make another penny off of this recipe!

place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375

Free water!

Cass and I were at home and loved the rain! Then rain became heavier and heavier...and then Mother Nature thought our house needed to be watered...She thought wrong. Luckily, we didn't get it as bad as others! The water came into our kitchen and into our master bedroom. We quickly laid down towels and started the fans! Our landlord laid sand bags and put a pump on our patio and drained 4 inches of water from potentially coming into the house! Thank goodness! crazy rain! and thank goodness we don't own the house!
This is when I was extremely interested in the rain.
 It started to pour!
This little river turned into the Mississippi River!
Our patio full of water! this is when we became worried!

These pictures are from the internet!
This was close to our house! a big'o'puddle

This is way close to our house! Luckily it didn't block my path to work!
These were the StormDrains..They were like old faithful! blasting with water!
Nicole asked Cass and I to babysit Kade when her friend went into the hospital to have her baby. So she dropped him off and Cass was so cute with him! Playing temple run. Kade would mess it up and cass would fix it before he died! It was so funny to listen to them! Then it was time for bed at 1 in the morning and he didn't want to go to sleep without his mommy. So he decided to barf twice in our bed, once  on Cass, once on me. We decided to call him mommy and by the time she got back he was SOUND asleep and exhausted. Lets just say..We're not quite ready for babies! haha

The best two years :)

Its been TWO years! Yahoo :) The best two years of my life so far ;) I looked into my 2010 journal and this is what I found. July 21st, 2010- Woke up at 11. Made Waffles from scratch, just setting my day right to meet my lover for life! Went to work for Canyonlands and cleaned apartments. Did my laundry in the community washer & dryers, you have to keep a close eye on it or people through the laundry on the ground. Went and laid out at the pool with Shelby and met Cass (who was studying his EMT book) and Ryan (that wore rubber duckie floaties) Cass was muscley and goooood looking :) But noticed he was short and thought we would be just friends, but I was still attracted ;) So we hung out and soaked up the Vitamin D. Shelby and I went to Walmart and bought twin sheets so we could make closet curtains! They were brown and with small white ribbons! We also bought hair wax and stopped at the wonderful Durangos.
These are the curtains!

We saw these lovely ladies at Arby's on our way to Walmart. :) We laughed only a little bit!
Then we went home and decided to wax. Then the boys showed up and we waxed Cass & mike! Nipples...
Then the night continued on...all of our friends went home. Then we went on a bike ride to this pond. Where the whole relationship began :)
Fully clothed...We went on a bike ride and found this pond in the dark...and decided to jump in!
This tree is right next to the pond and it has a tree house in it!
Cass and I sat in this tree, talking and learning about each other and I had no idea that one day I'd marry that boy :)
This was after jumping in the pond a few times. We had a swim race across the pond and back. Cass let me win and we just had a great time. We rode back and he took me to the door and told me goodnight.

I have been so fortunate to find a boy like Cass! He was so kind and funny, that I instantly started to crush on him! I had a perfect day and I can't wait what else is in thestore for our future! I love you Cass!

Bitter Sweet

Oh goodness I had a big wet tear as I plugged my debit card number into Google so they would take $2.49 from my account every month! :( Google is already SO rich that they couldn't grant a poor married college student a free blog. I tried everything around it ... make a new account and it still linked my to my old account...they just knew. So I called and cried to my Mom and she offered my birthday present to me early! Thanks mom! So now I will love my blog more cause its a present!

Look at me!

Hello,

Here I am at work. Watching my patient sleep peacefully as I wait for him to ask me for something to do. Instead I've been making fun creations out of Vial Medicine Caps with my handy dandy hot glue in my backpack. Decorating all my co-workers badges :) Tonight is one of those nights I wish I was home. Knowing that my sweet sick husband is home with  no one to get him warm soup, medicine, or a cuddle buddy. I just wait, listening to the clock ticking and the soft movements of my patient. 12 hours doesn't go by fast enough! Although in two hours I'll be able to crawl into bed, freshly showered, to be with him. I've been craving for his presence. I'll see you soon baby. :) We are on day 3 of him being sick. Haven't figured out the right remedies to get him better, but we will.

Salina, UT - 4th of July

I have never been to Salina, but this little town is so cute! I loved it :) Reminds me of the old school Lehi that I miss! It was beautiful and HOT weather, but not as hot as St. George. Cass and I drove up Tuesday and came back Wednesday night, so it was a short trip but totally worth it! When we got there we went to a picnic in the park and we ate BBQ sandwiches, beans, salad, and scones! They were pretty good! :) They had little kids singing and dancing and we just got to sit and enjoy each other! Then we went to Cass's Great Grandpa's house and we camped out in our sleeping bags in the back yard!
This is his G-G-pa's house! It was built in the 1800's I believe! Crazy! It was so cute and old inside , I loved it!
Helping Ava with her Bicycle seat! He's going to be a great daddy ;)
Two little baby birdies! So cute!
We went to the Town Fair. There tradition is this grease pole. The tree pole is greased with CRISCO! The goal is to get the ribbon up top that was worth $165 yahoo! There were dollar bills along the way but they let the kids go first and they pretty much swiped them all! haha
HAHAHA BUTT CRACK! the boy on top of him used his pants to climb up and it pulled his pants down!! hahaha and he couldn't do nothing about it!
So no one was getting up the pole. THEN these 4 scrony LOCAL boys came in and WAH BAM! They climbed both the poles (there were 2 poles worth $165) and they walked away with all the money! haha it was fun it watch!
Here we are....enjoying the fair!

Watching the kids play games.
YAHOO! haha Kade jumping in the bounce house!
Mya and Ava both won suckers and fish...that are probably dead now.
The Fireworks in the park were AWESOME! small town...good fireworks! Thats my head and Ava's little head :)
Kade doing an awesome job at covering his heart for the  flag at the SALINA PARADE
Enjoying the INTENSE heat at the parade. It was a short and sweet parade. It blew my mind because all the parades I've been to have had a billion "Ward" floats and this one had NONE! weird...
There was like 5 drummers and drum sets on that little trailer! They sounded great!
Salina Rodeo-Pretty comparable to the great LEHI rodeo!
 Ground Beef hahaha
YAY! Look at the people camped up on the hill! haha it was steep too!
OH! I just love him!
So this was pretty funny. Kids 6-8 were let in the arena and they stood in a line on the opposite side of the  baby cow was released. That poor baby cow had 50 kids running straight at him, he is probably having nightmares right now! The taped ribbons onto him and the kids had them all pulled off pretty quick! Then they let the 9-12 year olds with a full grow cow and that was nuts because the big cow PLOWED over the kids. It was hilarious but scary! I would of freaked if I was a parent, but those CowBoy kids are TOUGH!
Then another great firework show! Then Cass and I headed back to St. G at 11:30 at night! got home at 2 in the morning! But I don't go to bed till 5am anyways! haha my work schedule has me all mixed up! It's 3 in the morning right now tehe!
YAY! Presents from my MOMMY! She sent me a Heart Felt Gift from the good ol Lehi Round up! yay! and PEPPER SPRAY!!! So watch out creepers...here I come! haha THANKS MAMA!
